After leading 100 Photowalks in the Houston area for the past two years, my wife and I will be participating in a different sort of walk next month: The Walk Now for Autism Speaks fundraiser.
I'm blessed with an amazing group of friends who have contributed to my personal fundraiser goal page. As a way to say "THANKS", I will be doing a random drawing among everyone who donates. The winner will receive a $50 gift certificate for my portrait and art collection at 24moves. $50 will score you a nice 20"x24" poster sized art print, perfect for framing and hanging on your wall.
If you have enjoyed the events Marty and I have put together for you in the past, or you're friends/family that just feels obligated <wink>, please visit my fundraiser page to leave a donation of any amount. You're name will be placed in the drawing!
Thanks so much!
[UPDATE! 9-19-2011] Good things come in small packages! Today, the good folks at Think Tank Photo jumped on board with my Walk now for Autism Speaks goal. They sent me a Speed Demon Belt pack to give away to a random person in the awesome Houston Photowalks Family who helps with this years Walk Now for Autism Speaks fundraiser! THANK YOU to Think Tank Photo for their kind product donation!
[UPDATE! 10-04-2011] How cool is this, we are in #10 place in all of HOUSTON for the most money generated! THANK YOU to all our awesome friends and family who have joined us in this walk and who have donated.
Time to step it up a notch. If we reach our goal of 20 people to walk in our group, AND our group is the #1 contributor in Houston on October 22nd -- I will buzz cut off all my hair. Thats right, all the way down, baby. This is a Phrenologist's dream come true. I'll even get some of my photographer friends to video tape it and post it on the web.
So click the links above to donate some bucks to the cause.
